  Description: This exhibition, on view December 5, 2007 – February 2, 2008 features 17 black-and-white prints by Fellowship 2007 award recipient Caleb Charland of Brewer, Maine. Charland transforms everyday household objects into unexpected demonstrations of art and science. By using fire, water, magnets and power tools, he finds a balance between stunning pyrotechnics and quiet compositions. The Fellowship project, now in its 8th year, attracted 282 submissions from 32 states and 2 foreign countries. Ten Honorable Mention photographers are exhibiting one picture each.
