  Description: This exhibition, on view December 5, 2007 – February 2, 2008 features 17 black-and-white prints by Fellowship 2007 award recipient Caleb Charland of Brewer, Maine. Charland transforms everyday household objects into unexpected demonstrations of art and science. By using fire, water, magnets and power tools, he finds a balance between stunning pyrotechnics and quiet compositions. The Fellowship project, now in its 8th year, attracted 282 submissions from 32 states and 2 foreign countries. Ten Honorable Mention photographers are exhibiting one picture each.

• The Indiana Arts Council will hold its second annual "Downtown Decadence", February 13, 2008 at 7:30, at the
  Coventry Inn in Indiana. If you missed last years event, it was a fun evening full of chocolate, music and art. A silent art auction will be held to benefit the Indiana Arts Council. Invited artists are asked to put a reserve on their artwork for the amount they want to be paid. The Arts Council will add a commission to the reserve and the silent bidding begins at that point.
