A Little Bit More Bus Humor:
Two ladies bowling teams, one of all blondes and one of all brunettes, charter a double-decker bus for a weekend bowling tournament in Chicago. The brunette team rides in the bottom of the bus. The blonde team rides on the top level.
The brunette team on the lower level of the bus is singing, laughing and whooping it up, having a great time. After a while, the brunette team realizes that they don't hear anything from the blonde team on the upper level of the bus. So one of the brunettes goes upstairs to see what is going on. When she gets to the top of the stairs and peeks in, she see all the blondes sitting in their seats perfectly still, frozen in fear, all of them staring straight ahead at the road, and clutching the seats in front of them with white knuckles.
The brunette asks, "What the heck's going on up here? We're having a great time downstairs!"
One of the blondes looks up at the brunette and says, "Yeah, but you've got a driver!"

The Pennsylvania School Bus Stopping Laws:
- When you meet or overtake a stopped school bus with red signal lights flashing and stop arm extended, you must
stop.
- When you approach an intersection where a stopped school bus has its red signal lights flashing and stop arm
extended, you must stop.
- You must stop for a bus on roadways with painted lines. Drivers do not have to stop on a highway with
clearly defined dividing sections or physical barriers providing separate road ways - this only applies when the school bus is
on the opposite side of the road.
- You must stop at least 10 feet away from the school bus.
- You must wait until the red lights have stopped flashing and the stop arm has been withdrawn before moving.
- Do not move until all the children have reached a place of safety.
If you are convicted of violating Pennsylvania's School Bus Stopping Law, you will receive a 60-day driver's license
suspension, five points on your driving record and a $100 fine. |

Truck drivers are especially susceptible to fatigue-related crashes.
In addition to the high number of miles driven each year, many truckers
may drive during the night when the body is sleepiest. Truckers may also
have a high prevalence of a sleep and breathing disorder called sleep apnea.
Studies suggest truck-driver fatigue may be a contributing factor in at least
30 to 40 percent of all heavy truck accidents.
