It was a large wedding party, and afterwards the photographer took a long time getting family groups together for pictures. The groom sat by me, waiting with barely concealed impatience. AABC, the oldest cultural organization in Butler County, was established in 1934 by local artists who wanted a forum for the exchange of ideas.
The Art Center hosts nine exhibits each year. Classes are offered in the Spring and Fall semesters in cooperation with Butler County Community College. In addition the center hosts lectures, programs, musical performances, art classes, and workshops.

An amateur photographer was invited to dinner with friends and took along a few pictures to show the hostess. She looked at the photos and commented "These are very good! You must have a good camera."
